Passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 29, 2021. Aged 82. Loved son of the late Santo and Francesca Venuto. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Agata and Tony Gulli. Treasured ‘Uncle Joe’ to Jim, Cath, Sam, Mary, Rob, Stazz, Chris, Caitlin, Nathan, Joshua and Daniel Gulli and Liz, Joe, Jenna and Jake Raimondo. Reunited now with our dearly loved Aunty Bev. Dear Uncle Joe, we treasure the times we had with you and will hold the many precious memories dearly. We witnessed your resilience and persistent nature right until the end. You encountered many challenges yet, you endured all quietly and got on with it, adapting as you needed to – often with a bit of humour to help us all carry on. You demonstrated an incredible work ethic and showed genuine respect for those you held in your inner sanctum. We will miss your quiet loving way with a bit of straight shooting advice coupled with numerous ‘Uncle Joe sayings’. Now it’s your time to rest Uncle Joe. Reunited with our dearly loved Aunty Bev, we hope you find the big bingo hall in heaven coupled with some Foxtel to cheer on your beloved Cats. We will love and remember you always x Our sincerest thanks to the wonderful team at the Grace McKellar Palliative Care Unit for their support, care and compassion for our Uncle Joe. A private funeral will be held.
