The family of John Barfield would like to sincerely thank friends and family who attended and assisted at John’s requiem service, extended messages of sympathy, made personal phone calls, sent flowers and cards, and to those who have supported us at this difficult time. Thank you also to QAS paramedics, medical & nursing staff G2, ICU & F2 at Mackay Base Hospital and Mater Palliative Care. Also to Drs Manish Kumar, Zia Ansari, Adrian Westcott, Mark Vucak, and doctors and staff at the GP SuperClinic Walkerston. Special thanks to Josie Battaia at St John’s Parish, Walkerston, Fr Pat Mooney, and parish priests who provided support to John during his illness.
