PERRETT, John James

June 1934-September 2020 John was born at Sunshine and grew up at St Albans, riding across the paddocks, playing football and tennis. He never left, spending most of his professional life as a pharmacist in Main Road West, and (for a time) also worked a small farm his father had bought. He was devoted to his father and cared for him in his last years. In the last little while John followed his father's decline, and died at peace. John was forever grateful to the renal unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital for a kidney and the extra years it gave him. His friendships were few but cherished. Thanks to Craigcare at Glenroy and to the many medical professionals who extended his life and improved its quality.
