JORDANS, Meike

Meike was a much loved and respected foundation member of the Vincent HRD Club of South Australia Inc., formerly the Vincent Owners’ Club of South Australia Incorporated – founded in 1969. Meike was a friend to all, and her dedication behind the scenes, helping in so many ways, and supporting her beloved Peter (deceased in 2022) in the various roles that he held in the club. That showed the person Mieke was, always helping others, hosting, with Peter, our Christmas breakfasts and for 50 years opening their home for our January club meeting. Their home was always open for members to visit and we were always made welcome.

Peter and Meike made lifelong friendships with Vincent members throughout Australia attending numerous state and national rallies over the decades, as well as extending invitations for others to join them on their own travelling and camping holidays. Meike kept a photographic history of our club, from its early days, and through that the club will always have a visual memory of a very precious lady who will be remembered in the hearts of Vincent members Australia wide for her smile, conversation, and willingness to always lend a hand.

Meike will be sorely missed with her recent passing and our club extends its deepest sympathies to Brenton, Sonya and Pat, and to her much loved grandchildren, Aidan, Brodie, Natessa, Ivy and Mabel. Rest in Peace dear friend, reunited with your beloved Peter.
