KERR, Rev. Graeme (Kelvin Charles)

The love of his life June, children Kymberley, Marcus and Nicolas and their families, along with the families of brothers Robert and Charles (dec), honour the life of their deeply loved husband, father and brother, eldest son of Kelvin and Mavis, who died on Wednesday, February 9th.

His life as a loving and loved husband of June; proud father of Kymberley, Marcus and Nicolas; and adoring grandfather of Austin, Tabitha and Cooper; was of a selfless devotion to family and to God.

His calling, and unwavering faith in the Almighty God, as a Reverend in the Uniting Church in Australia, theologian, philosopher and teacher touched the lives of countless individuals and families and was one of constant giving and caring in the communities in which he served, most notably: the staff and students of Haileybury College; the Parish of St. Cuthbert’s Lorne; and the Parish of St. Andrew’s Box Hill.

He believed in love as declared and shown by Jesus the Christ, love from which nothing in all creation can separate us. He knew death is not the end, but a new beginning from which nothing can separate us from love, as it is revealed in all Creation, where the single creative power of all our existences is love, and the perfecting of our spirit is love.

Rest now good and faithful servant.
