It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jan Maree King (née Purdon), aged 64, on 7th March 2025.
Jan was the beloved wife of David, loving sister of Gary and Karen, and cherished daughter of
the late Kenneth
and Peg Purdon.
She was a devoted mother and mother-in-law to James and Ella, and Jordan and Sarah.
Jan was also the proud and doting grandmother of Maggie and Bowie.

Gone too soon,
but now at peace.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Royal Hobart Hospital, Ward 9A, and the Palliative Care Team for their compassionate care during Jan’s final days.
