LAFFAN. - Owen Patrick. 25.06.1911 - 12.02.2008 Late of Wallan, Kal Kallo and Craigieburn. Passed away peacefully at St Vincent's following a long, happy and fulfilled life. Son of John and Margaret (both dec.), brother of Essie, John, Dora, Maggie, Leo and Bernie (all dec.) and loving husband of 60 years to Mary (nee Mahady, dec.). Devoted father to Maureen (McCarter), Dennis (dec.) and Gerard. Father-in-law to Terry, Sandra and Bernadette. Grandfather of Angela, Nicholas,Andrea, Michael, Christine, Christopher, Matthew, Simon, Samuel and Great Grandfather of nine. The final chapter of Inverlochy is closed and his memory will live on as a trusted man, whose tireless devotion to family, faith and the community was witnessed by all that came into contact with him, regardless of their age, colour or creed. Rest peacefully now, reunited with his Mary and Dennis. Happy to meet Dad, sorry to part, but one day happy to meet again.
