LAIDLAW.— John

The President, Board and staff of Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, and the Chairman and Directors of the Kooyong Foundation are extremely saddened by the passing of John Laidlaw.

John was a Member of Kooyong for 62 years and was a generous supporter of the Foundation. He took a keen interest in the development of young players through the Foundation and was appointed a patron some years ago.

This year the Foundation honoured him by introducing the John Laidlaw Awards for the outstanding junior players in the Foundation Scholarship program.
