LANKOW, John William (Jack) (1927 - 2014) (Retired NZ Police) Passed away aged 86 years on 17 August 2014, on the Gold Coast, Australia Loving and cherished husband and soul mate of Eleanor (Ele). Much loved and respected father (Pop) and father-in-law of Jan and John Courtney (Canberra). A loved brother and friend of Heather Lankow (Nelson NZ) and the late Ngaire Hay and respected brother-in-law of Rex Hay (Hastings NZ) A Special Uncle to Perine Renwick, Cavell Hay (deceased), LaCelle Hay and their families.Loved and respected son-in-law of Fred and Alla Reed (both deceased) and much loved brother-in-law of Jacki and David.John will be remembered, loved and respected by all who knew him. The family would like to sincerely thank the Doctors and Staff of John Flynn Hospital and in particular Dr. Shane Bleakley for taking care of John over many years and also the Management and Staff of Cypress Gardens Nursing Centre for their care and assistance throughout John's difficult time.
