LAWRANCE, Peter William

We farewell our warm-hearted and generous friend since our school days at BGS. Pete usually held centre stage, yet he was an attentive listener and perceptive raconteur who regaled us with his latest stories, particularly of criminal court proceedings where he was a regular in the public gallery, but of course he would never reveal his sources. He was a charmer, sports fan, media champion, wine-lover and enthusiastic diner, whom we will miss especially at the Kooyong barbeque where he has prepared our steaks for decades.

We will toast you every Thursday, Pete, and draw on your courageous spirit when cheering the Tonners on Saturdays at the footy.

Rest peacefully, Pierre.
