The Tiwi Land Council are deeply saddened by the passing of a well-respected and active community member.

Blessed with many gifts, he served the Tiwi people and devoted his life to the community.

He was an exceptional man.

The Tiwi Land Council members and staff wish to send sincere condolences to the Long family, friends and including those on the Tiwi Islands.

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
