The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Dad you lived an amazing life over your 83 years, I am proud to have shared so many adventures with you from fishing camp when we were kids, buffalo and horse pet meat shooting, then I took you on the bitumen road sealing journey. You were always there if I needed a hand - I have lost my best mate, my dad and I’m totally heart broken.
Fly high dad on those great big floodplains filled with buffalo and barramundi hopefully they have a bar and you now can enjoy a beer.
We promise to look after Gran
