June 21, 1931 – April 27, 2023 (aged 91 years).

Loved husband of Sheila, adored and amazing father of Iona, Heide and Angus, fabulous father-in-law of Tadasu, Peter and Lucrezia, treasured Francis/Mumsdad of Isamu, Syrah, Oscar, Jacob, Marli, Hanna, Luca, James and Sandro.

Son of James Donald and Mary Ann Louisa McNabb of Baringhup West, brother of Marjory, Lorna, Donald, Mary, Betty, Jean (all dec.) and Ian.

Founder of the Cairnmillar Institute 1961,

Executive Director 1961 – 2015.

Minister of Prahran Presbyterian Church 1960 – 1970.

Executive Minister of St Michael’s Uniting Church, Collins Street, Melbourne 1971 – 2016.
