Basil Edward Marden has set sail on his final journey, returning to the loving embrace of his beloved Ida, Rebecca and dear Chris. In his last days, he was surrounded by the love and care of his daughter Jacqui, son in law Peter and special friend Kat. He leaves a loving legacy in his granddaughter Frances and her husband Mitch. Much loved by his daughter Vicki.

A true gentleman, Basil has touched countless lives with his compassionate kindness.

His peaceful passing was made possible by the extraordinary care of the Whittle Ward team – a group of earth angels who gave us comfort and peace beyond words.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and grace. Rest in peace our darling Basil Brush.
