After a long battle with cancer, Renate finally succumbed to the disease at Bellingen Hospital. Renate died as she lived, with strength and grace. Loved by partner Al, sister Elizabeth, niece Eva and nephew Raoul. Renate will be sadly missed by Denise & Lee, Jeff & Lauren, and Linda. There will be no funeral or service. A celebration of Renate’s life will be organised in the near future. “O vine, grow close upon that bone and hold it with your rooted hand. The prophet Moses feeds the grape, and fruitful is the Promised Land.” – J.W.
