Aged 54 years

Beloved son of Stefanos (dec) and Eleni Cherished father of Alex, Selena and Stefano Loved brother and brother-in-law of Soula and Paulo Much loved uncle of Elena and Christian

Lovingly remembered by all his relatives and many friends in Australia and Greece.

Due to COVID-19 a private Funeral Church Service and Burial will be held.

Spiro to say we are completely heartbroken you have left us is not enough.

A part of my soul has been taken with you, you have been a mentor to me in so many ways throughout my life right up to the end! Even the doctors to say to me he is such a Gentleman, so gracious, I know I said, he’s my brother that’s how he’s always been.

To not bother anyone, ever, I wish you would have bothered everyone that little bit more. Even 4 days ago we had our last big laugh where you said something and I responded please don’t make me laugh, then we both burst out laughing far too loud – best moment!

You never wanted to upset anyone.  I know its in our blood but in True Cretan style you were such a fighter, never ever giving up, 3 days ago “I’m not gone yet”.

To put up with so so many things in your life, you are the strongest person many of us will ever know.

I have promised and committed so much to you and I will do my best to fulfill your dreams, your children have always been like my own, it will be sad to go forward without you, we will try, we have no choice.

Your gentle, smart nature made you so special, never asking for much from anyone, always loving those around you, we could all learn from you, you were such a respected man in people that crossed your path, friends and work.

Selena and I have counted so many breaths and gaps of seconds on the clock, you told us it was close, we all expressed our love for each other, such a powerful moment!

It makes me happy that the requests you gave to your son Alex car parts, photos, boxes etc he was able to give you & fulfill those last moments for you and also the calmness that you loved in your daughter Selena she provided to you in the end holding your hand – I hope Dad was on the other side reaching his hand out to you so you both can meet again.

To our family of friends your closeness to Spiro has been amazing and without your support we could not be trying to get through this, Cousin Andrew, Evelyn – Angel, Jim & Kathy, John & Jo, Alice & Tom, Sandra and everyone else – too many to mention, Thank you for your support.

Until we all meet again, we Love you, we already miss you, no more stress, be at Peace, catch up with Dad and please please look over us.
