The Northern Territory Solicitor-General’s Chambers extends its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the Honourable Brian Frank Martin.


Originally from New South Wales, His Honour moved to Alice Springs to practice law in 1963 and served as the second Solicitor-General of the Northern Territory from 1981 to 1987. His Honour was subsequently appointed a Justice of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory and then Chief Justice.


His Honour will be remembered for his significant contributions to the administration of law in the Northern Territory.
