Tony Maryon - April 1943 - May 2023.
It is with great sadness that the Maryon and Elliot families announce Tony's death in Provence, France, on the 17th of May 2023 after a period of illness.
Tony was a resident in Darwin from 1968 through to 1991 when he joined the International Red Cross in Geneva.
He was involved in the motor industry in Darwin for a number of years before becoming NT Director of the NT Division of the Australian Red Cross in 1980. He was active in many honorary and volunteer roles including Honorary French Consul to the NT, President of Darwin Rotary club, Radio Top FM and others.
His funeral will be held in Grambois, Provence, France, on the 25th of May, 2023, where he retired in 2010.
