Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
MASON. - Frank Jefferson on June 23, 2005, aged 85. I knew I had to let you go, I kissed you goodbye and told you so. And then you left and was on your way, To wake up somewhere to a pain free day. Loved and loving husband of 64 years of Audrey. He potters no more in the garden, He strolls no more down the path. He no longer samples the wine, He no longer spins us a yarn. But the years we had together, Will live forever in our hearts. Loved father of Jeff and Christine. Loved Grandad of Leanne, Peter, Coral, Linda, Amanda, Peter and Karleen. Only to see his face again, Only to hear him speak, Only to see him smile once more, Only to kiss his cheek. Darling Dad and Grandad of Lorraine and Roger, Audra, George, Brooke and Great Grandad of Lachlan and Ella.
