Cherished brother of Peter, Anne, Helen,
Sally and Kathryn. Brother-in-law of Peter, Jill, Bill and Ross.
Beloved uncle to his nephews and nieces and their partners:
Belinda and Nigel,
Anna and Garth, Matthew, Ian and Li, Alexander and Bec,
Amy and Bruce,
Bill and Amanda, Russell, Lucy and Alistair,
Brenton and Allie, Sam, Lachlan and Sarah.
Loving great-uncle to his great-nieces and great-nephews.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
One of Australia’s finest photographers, Robert documented Australian society, politics, and the performing arts, including a great number of significant Australian films and theatre productions, and was photography critic for the Sydney Morning Herald for more than 25 years. He saw the world through a uniquely compassionate and poetic lens, and left a rich legacy of iconic images.
