Kate McIver was born 16 October, 1945 and died 30 December, 2022. For the past 47 blessed years, Kate has been the loved and cherished wife of Brian McIver.
Kate is beloved by her sons — Paul, James and Michael — and their partners, Tanya, Emma and Claire. Her young grandson Robbie, who Kate adored, misses his Katie very much.
Kate dealt with all those who she met — from all walks of life — with equal love and kindness.
Friends and family treasure in particular Kate’s humility, her loving kindness and her cheeky sense of humour. She will be in our hearts forever.
Kate’s family send their profound gratitude to all staff at The Alfred and the Acute Neurosciences Unit of the University Hospital, Geelong (together with their colleagues in other units) who cared for Kate so wonderfully during her final days.
Kate’s gentle soul rests in Eternal Peace
