He was a much loved and devoted husband to Valerie,
and adored father of Wayne, Christine and Diane, a cherished grandfather of Ayvon, Jason, Matthew and Melissa, and a great-grandfather to Hunter and Finley.
A great supporter of family and teamwork, he was a life-member of Bentleigh Cricket Club with a continuous membership of more than 60 years and a Fitzroy/Brisbane Lions supporter in the VFL/AFL.
