MEAD, Darren

Sergeant Darren Mead was already a proven contributor as a police officer when, in the interest of his colleagues, he embraced an additional role as a Police Association official.
Elected to serve his workmates as a member of the association committee of management (April 2021 to April 2023), Darren performed his duties with honour, integrity and diligence. His care about the plight, welfare and futures of his fellow police officers was as genuine as it was obvious. His passing has come far too soon. The Police Association was privileged to represent him throughout his 22 years' service to policing and extends its deepest sympathy to family, friends and colleagues.
