MESZOLY. - George Leslie. Mar. 6, 1923 - Nov. 30, 2009 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of George Leslie Meszoly at the age of 86 years at Arpad Hostel, Melbourne. He is survived by his loving children George and Suzy and his granddaughter Una both of New York, USA. He also leaves many loved ones and friends, especially Eva and Geza. Our dear father was a man who loved life and he shared this joy with all those around him. People loved to be in his company, loved to hear his stories and his ideas about the world. People were awed by his intelligence, his curiosity and his ability and determination to realize his visions. He was a strong and powerful man who was a major figure in the Hungarian community in Melbourne since his arrival from the homeland to Australia in 1949. We know that he will be remembered with love and will be dearly missed.
