by clergy, religious and
the lay faithful of the
Archdiocese of Adelaide.
Passed away at
Mareeba Nursing Home,
Maclean, New South Wales
on July 6, 2023, aged 83.
Father Noel,
ordained to the
Priesthood in the
Archdiocese of Sydney,
was later incardinated in
the Archdiocese of Adelaide.
He was a much-loved priest
of the Archdiocese,
he served as
Parish Priest in the
Parishes of Bordertown,
St Marys, Yorketown
and Birdwood,
also, Priest in Charge
in the Parish of
Kangaroo Island and
Administrator in the
Parish of Taperoo.
He served as a Chaplain
to Flinders University
and was an elected member
on the Diocesan Pastoral
Council, Priestly Life
and Ministry Committee
and the Council of Priests.
He was very passionate
about the ongoing education
and formation of Priests.
Father Noel will be
lovingly remembered with
deep gratitude for
his service for over 54 years
in the Archdiocese of Adelaide
and deeply missed by all
clergy, religious and
people of the
Archdiocese of Adelaide.
