Domenic,
We had 57 truly joyful years of the deepest love, happiest marriage and truest partnership that I could imagine. You gave me the experience of being deeply understood, truly supported and completely and utterly loved and I will carry that with me always. Love Rosa
Dad,
When I was a child I would look up to you and want to be the man you were. We worked together for 36 years and in those years you taught me to work hard, respect and have pride in everything you do. When you became ill the roles turned. You became our son and we your parents. We looked after you, took you to your appointments and did whatever we could to make your life comfortable. You fought to the end and I'm so proud to call you my Dad, the man with the huge heart that worried about everyone else before himself.
Until we meet again, look over us in heaven and we will look after Mum here.
Love always and forever, Mario and Ida.
Pa,
Thank you for every opportunity you gave us in our lives
You were a hard man with a soft heart
You were the strongest man I ever knew
You did things the only way you knew how to
You were larger than life and huge in the Italian community
You were a giver not a taker and helped everyone who asked
Your love and respect flow through our veins
Now there's nothing but good times and memories that remain
We worked side by side for so many years
Now I just can't stop the tears
All the traditions you taught will live on forever
You meant more to us than you ever knew
Now it feels like an empty room
Rest peacefully, you worked and played hard
Your legacy will live on forever
With so much love and respect,
Rosario, Sonia, Domenic and Daniela, Natalie, Mikayla Monteleone.
Pa/Nonno,
You will always hold the most honoured place in our family. You were a man who was far more keen to put others ahead of yourself. Your unique love and guidance will forever be treasured. Continue to be our inspiration, but now our inspiration who is in heaven. You are not truly gone, as your memories will always live on through our family legacy. Never to be forgotten.
Love always in your footsteps, Roberto and Nadia Monteleone.
Dear Zio Domenico,
Thank you for being so caring with people especially with our Uncle Gildo who will always look up to you as his second father. Take care of all of us from heaven.
Angela and Bastian.
