MORWOOD, Helen Margaret Claudia MORWOOD, Helen Margaret Claudia (nee Swales), late of Iona Village Kenmore Hills and formerly of Coorparoo, Chapel Hill, Port Moresby, Gatton, Townsville, Stafford, Everton Park, London and Auckland, passed away peacefully at the Blue Care Tarry Brae Hostel, Kenmore Hills, on 12th January 2018, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of Colin, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Sean Kenny, of John Morwood and Wendy Downes, Bruce Morwood and Alastair Morwood, sister-in- law of Alan Morwood (dec'd), of Audrey Wise and of Ken Morwood, loving 'Henna' and 'Nana' to grandchildren Maddy, Jackson, Lachlan, Harry, Imogen, Jack, Yazmin and Evie. Dearly loved daughter of Claude and Alma Swales (both dec'd). Much loved by family and friends. Honorary Life Member of the Playgroup Association of Queensland, Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Brisbane Mid-City, Past President of the Inner Wheel Club of Brisbane, and past Programs Committee Chairman of the Save the Children Fund Queensland. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen's funeral, to be held at the Indooroopilly Uniting Church, 74 Station Road, Indooroopilly, on Monday 29th January 2018 commencing at 2.00 pm.
