Tony was a loyal, passionate, and long serving member of our workforce, and played a leading role in fire management initiatives, in particular the development of the soil dryness index, which has assisted firefighters in Tasmania and across Australia. He was a well-respected and knowledgeable member of Tasmania’s forest industry.

We are deeply saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. On behalf of Sustainable Timber Tasmania, we send our sympathies to Tony’s family and friends.
