MUNRO, Rodney John

Passed away peacefully on 20 November 2024 at Nambour Hospital, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of Betty, loving father of Tanya and Lisa. Adored grandfather of Jackson, Nelson, Morgan and Mia and Great Grandfather of Michael. Rod was retired from a lifelong career in AMP. A keen musician of drums and double bass, and an avid lover of Jazz, Rod enjoyed boating and was devoted to the community through Junior Chamber, Jaycees, Rotary and Probus. Retiring to the Sunshine Coast 20 years ago, he was forever found tinkering in his workshop until dementia claimed him in his later years. Cared for the last 5 years by daughter Tanya, and missed by all who knew him. Thank you to the palliative staff at Nambour Hospital who made his last week on earth peaceful and pain free. A private memorial will be held.
