In loving memory of Ma (Kaylene Newman) the world is now a darker place without your special light. You were so much to so many. To me you were 'Ma', I was lucky enough to have met you through the Miss Tasmania Awards back in 1996 and from there our relationship grew. You became family almost instantly. You welcomed me into your family, 'adopting' me like I was a daughter. You had such an impact on my life. You and your best friend Sue match-made me with my first true love, which shaped my future relationships forever. You stood by me through my next relationship and only once it was over did you dare to say anything, choosing only to say "Bindi, he did not deserve you". Then you were there to see Pa (your beloved Dennis) walk me down the beach as I married my forever love Geoff, You treated my girls like grandchildren. You offered advice, love, support, kindness, and occasionally the odd telling off. I probably needed more of those tellings off if I am honest. What will I do without you now? I will look up towards the stars and talk to you each night and I know you will answer me back when I need it the most. Miss you so much Ma.
