NICHOLLS (nee Dowie),Eva Janet. _5' 0", 5 size shoeSitting in her TV chairEyes glazingSometimes glaringFinger staringBut then she'd laugh. But just like Nana Dowie her eyes were brown and not blue. We'll miss you, our little Mum,Shorter than the lot of us.But "gold comes in small packages" she'd say,And pucked up to stand tall with us all.In the beginning was "Eve in the Garden of Eden",And at the end "Eve was in Eden Park".She saw out 92 years of life,Was as bright as a button to the end,But hardly slept in the dark. You're at rest and comfort now.So at long last, you're at peace. You can turn off your lamp, put down your book,Because the light of the cross is now eternally your ease.So God rest your soulMum.I love you._ Sylvia, Richard and Daniel. xo xo xo
