OWENS, Joan Christina (nee Haygarth). Aged 89. Late of Garden Settlement, Pallarenda (Formerly Magnetic Island). JOAN passed away peacefully on Wednesday 18th April, 2012. Loving Wife of Lindsay Owens (deceased), Mother to Greg, Judi, John and Leigh (deceased), Grandmother to Jay, Kalina, Bowie, Sommer and Lee. Great Grandmother to Lily, Harper, Leila and Milly. A PRIVATE MEMORIAL SERVICE was held at The Chapel Garden settlement, Pallarenda at 2.00 p.m. SUNDAY 22nd APRIL, 2012 for Family. A PUBLIC MEMORIAL CEREMONY will be held at 10.00 a.m. SUNDAY 29th APRIL at the Memorial Wall, Sooning Street, Nelly Bay, Magnetic Island for all to attend. Special Thanks to all the staff at Garden Settlement for their professionalism and kind friendship towards Joan during her stay. ~ We will miss you Granny ~
