The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Nina, My beautiful devoted Wife of 53 Years.
A dedicated Mother and adorable Grandmother.
I loved you dearly with all my heart and soul, all my strength, will and power.
You stuck with me through triumph and adversity.
We holidayed all over Australia together. We cruised the oceans together.
We hunted and collected oysters in Tasmania, blackberries on the Mornington Peninsula, chestnuts at Myrtleford, Pinky Snapper in Port Phillip Bay.
Nina you were my best friend, my first mate, my counsellor, my inspiration, my everything.
A wonderful cook, a social butterfly that was always the organizer of parties and social occasions.
Only you knew everyone’s Birthday’s and Anniversary’s. My heart is shattered.
I will always remember you each and every single day till I join you up above.
All my eternal love,
Your Marty xxx
The oceans of tears I cannot stop!
Selfless and beautiful, you were one of a kind.
You opened your eyes as I held your hand.
To Heaven you went, a beautiful Angel to be.
You were a Wife, Mother, Mother-in-law and an incredible Nanny.
Rest In Peace Mum.
Lost but never forgotten.
We love you now and forever.
Jo-Anne, Brendan & your loving Grandchildren Nathan, Luke & Chelsea xxxxx
My dearest Mum.
You have been taken from us much too early.
You were always there for me over the years.
You will remain in my heart forever.
RIP
Your one and only Son,
Michael xxx
