The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
PATERNO. _ Orazio (Ossie). If we could write a story, it would be the greatest ever told. Of a kind and loving father, who had a heart of gold. We could write a million pages, but still be unable to say, just how much we love and miss you every single day. We will remember all you taught us. We are hurt but won't be sad, because you will send us down the answers, because you will always be our DAD. Love always _ Brittany and Sheridan xoxo I have only just lost you, the pain is hard to bare. Do I have to go through life knowing you're not there? Please someone explain to me why you had to go, are there any reasons I really need to know? I sit here and remember all the awesome times we shared, the fun, the laughs, the holidays, nothing else compared. You were my partner in crime, ready for a good time. Just kiss me softly on the cheek and tell me where you are. Until we meet again, up in heaven at the bar. Love always _ Your girl, Belinda (Teresa).
