PEDDIE (ARMSTRONG), Coralie Elizabeth. Born March 20, 1945. Died in the early hours of Saturday, August 19 from pancreatic cancer, aged 72. Artist, family historian, conservationist and volunteer palaeontologist at the South Australian Museum. Daughter of Terry and Rosie Armstrong. Sister to Susie, Kay, Charlie, Anthony, Sally and Nancy. Wife of Frank, Mum to Clare and Roland, Nanna to Ebony, Dexter, Darcy, Kiki and Skye. Strong and independent to the end, she will be remembered as calm and creative, gentle and kind, meticulous, thoughtful and resourceful. Coralie captured the beauty of nature in her paintings, from jagged rocks to rolling hills. In later years, she included intricate portraits of wildlife, fossils and farm animals. Rest now.
