The Catholic Diocese of Port Pirie thanks God for the life and Ministry of Fr Ray.

He died at Star of the Sea Aged Care Home Wallaroo on Tuesday 20 February 2024 with his dear friends by his side.

Father Ray was 98 years old and was ordained a Priest on the 28 July 1948 in Adelaide.

He served in Port Pirie, Port Lincoln, Whyalla, Georgetown, Kadina, Snowtown and Wallaroo as a Priest for the people.

The Diocese sincerely thank the staff of Star of the Sea and his close friends who were so faithful to him.
