The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
PORTER Wilma (Wil) Dec. 3, 2014 The world remains a brighter place because of the precious time that we had with Wil. The night sky has become brighter now as she is the brightest star shining down on all those she loved so dearly. As always Wil's remarkable strength and courage shone through as she made the toughest of times so much easier for us all; caring for those she loved even when she was the one in need of care, was the purest reflection of Wil's life. To my beautiful wife; to the most amazing Mum; to a devoted and doting Grandma, we will miss you always but we take comfort in knowing that you are now with your beloved Bizkit and your Mum. Whilst our sense of loss and grief is overwhelming, you taught us to be strong which now helps to guide us through this time. We take solace in the precious memories that you left us with, which sometimes brings tears, but can also still manage to produce smiles and even laughter. The light you brought to our lives will be with us forever. We will always love you to the moon and back and then twice around the stars. _ Love Ian, Matt, Mel, Hayley, Lila and Joshie xox.
