A true gentleman, Achilles lived a life of service to his family and community. As a young man, his love of the sea took him to many exotic ports during his naval service in Egypt. In Adelaide, he carried on the family tradition in the Scouts as a Scout Master. These pursuits made him a great storyteller for his children and grandchildren. He was dedicated in his service to the Greek community in the Ethnic Affairs Commission of SA. A man of great integrity and strength of character, he was hardworking, a talented tinkerer and “a really good fixer,” an avid gardener,
and a keen chess player.
Known for his effortless humour and love of a good laugh, above all, he deeply loved his wife and family.
We are deeply grateful to staff at the RAH.
Forever in our hearts
