Elder brother of Kent and Helen: Uncle Steve to their children Betty, Luke, Chris, Geoff and James, Simon, Nathan and 17 grand-children.
Steve was born in Hobart and lived also in Launceston and Queenstown.
A gentle, loyal and industrious technician who served the Meteorological Bureau all over Australia and Antarctica.
At rest after suffering esophagal cancer and myo-sitis in his last few years.
