Born at Foster on 03/03/1960.

Much loved wife of Stephen.

Beloved youngest daughter of Allan Brookes (dec) and Gloria.

Loved sister of John, Peter (dec) and Helen.

After a long and courageous battle,

well fought, never complaining always saying "I'm Fine", Gayle's battle was

to great.

Gayle will be sadly missed by all who

knew, loved and

respected her.

Now safe in the arms of her dad and brother, Peter, who was waiting to hold her once again.

Loved and remembered always Mum, John and Helen and families.

I'll Lend you for a little while, A child of mine God said, for you to love thee while she lives, a mourn for when she is dead, it may be 37 years or only 2 or 3, but will you til I take her back, take care care of her for me, She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and should her stay be brief, you'll have her loving memories as sole for your grief, I cannot promise she will stay, since all on earth returns, but there are lessons taught down there, I wish this child to learn, I've looked the wide world over, in searches true and from the things that crowd life's lane I have selected you, now will you give her all your love, nor think belabour vain nor hate me when I come to call to take her back again, I fancied that I heard her say dear lord thy will be done for all the joy the child shall bring, the risk of grief will run, will shelter her with tenderness, will lover her all we may and for the happiness we have known forever grateful stay but should the angels call for her much sooner than we planned we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.
