The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
RICHARDS. - George. George, you came to us like a man with no past. We aren't even sure of your real name. You told us that almost for the first time you found in our community, a home, a family and even kids you could adopt as grandchildren. In the months after your stroke, in hospital or nursing home, your mind was still here with the people you loved. The four years you were here were too short, but we thank God that at the end you found people and a place to belong to. We know you are finally at home with our God. - Your Corpus Christi Community.
