He is remembered for giving his time to the community through football, baseball and softball. He also served with the Metropolitan Fire Service of Port Lincoln for many years.

He is survived by his four children Dwayne, Amanda, Matthew and Jason. Grandfather to Jesse, Mia, Tamaria, Reece, Crystal, Hannah, Molly, Jordyn and Khai. Great Grandfather of 5.
