We are grateful for the life of Allan/Dad/Papa. Allan leaves behind wife Julie, his children and their families Nicole, Noel and Connor, Sarah and Evan, Sam, Sarah, and granddaughter Annie, and Maggie, his sisters Helen, Claire, Alison and extended family.

Allan made big impacts on his communities of Lorne and Tumut. He was a 2-term President of the Shire of Winchelsea, a volunteer Ambulance Officer, premiership player, captain, coach and selector of the Lorne Football Club, Chairman of the Lorne School Council, President of the Lorne Country Club and Bowls Club, and Committee Member of Club Tumut.

Allan died peacefully on Saturday, hand in hand with Julie. We will miss his dry wit, his strong convictions and commitment to others, his love of oranges, baths, seafood, gin and red wine, his songs and stories, and his love.
