The Chairman, Board, CEO and Staff of the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority are deeply saddened by the loss of their former Board member, colleague and friend.

Mr Tipungwuti was a member of the Authority Board from 2006 to 2015. He provided an informed voice due to his seniority and extensive official and political background.

He was a strong and respected communicator, able to build good relations within the Board and between Aboriginal custodians and the wider Territory community. He will be missed by all.

The Authority would like to send their deepest condolences to Mr Tipungwuti’s family, friends and Community.
