The SA Football Commission and SANFL are saddened by the passing of South Australian Football Hall of Fame member and Umpire Life Member Allan Roberts.

Inducted into the South Australian Hall of Fame in 2004, Allan officiated in 342 League matches as a boundary umpire from 1960 to 1985, as well as nine interstate matches and 19 SANFL League finals, including seven grand finals.

Allan will be remembered for his tremendous service and contribution to football in SA.

On behalf of Chairman The Hon Rob Kerin, CEO Darren Chandler, the SA Football Commission and SANFL, we extend our deepest sympathy to the Roberts family.
