John passed away on 5 June quickly and peacefully at Helping Hand Nth Adelaide, just short of his 86th birthday.


Dad lived a life of service, whether it was behind the pharmacy counter, volunteering and leading with Apex (fmr club President) and Kiwanis International (fmr Australian Governor) or coaching the E Division sports teams for the disabled.


Beloved dad of Simon, Joanne (deceased), Andrew and Suzanne.

Cherished stepdad to Leanne and Kylie.

Grandpa to Oscar, Isaac, Mia, Max, Alexander, Darcy, Cooper and Zac.

Former husband to Christine Watkinson.


Dearly loved and cherished by all his relatives and friends. Back together with Jan after 5 years.


A private memorial service will be held.
