RUNDLE, The Honourable Anthony Maxwell AO

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anthony Maxwell Rundle, aged 86 years.

Beloved husband of Caroline, brother-in-law of David and friend to Tessa.

Firstborn son of Maxwell and Irene Rundle (both dec.). Brother of Barbara (dec.), Carol Watson, and Peter (dec.).

Loved father of Jane and Helen, and fondly remembered by their mother Heather Rundle. Father-in-law of Steven Burrows, and adored grandfather of Zachary, Elizabeth, and James.
Loved brother and brother-in-law of Carol and David Watson. Cherished uncle of Jodie, Shani, and Fleur, and Gina, Jaci, and Ben, and their families.

As a former Premier of Tasmania, Tony will be remembered for his significant contributions to Tasmanian politics and his pivotal role in the state’s gun law reform.

A passionate sailor, he will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a Tasmanian charity would be appreciated.
