Of Hervey Bay; formerly of Pearcedale, Vic. Passed away peacefully at Hervey Bay Hospital, on 18th October 2019, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Val (dec'd). Sadly missed by his children and their partners Jennifer, Mark and Rhonda, Bradford, Clayton and Karen, and Philip; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law Kath and Neil, Norma and Steve; nieces and nephews.
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again,
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it and only God Knows why.
Our hearts filled with sadness and secret tears still flow,
We will always Love you, we just thought you should know.
Although your life’s journey has come to an end,
We hope you’re at Peace Dad and no pain to be found.
A private ceremony will be held at Hervey Bay, on Friday, 1st November. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Council Qld would be preferred.
