SCHMIDT. — Johann Carl (John/Jack) 03/01/1929 - 25/12/2018 Aged 89 and 11 Months Late of Yamba NSW, formerly of Lorne (Vic), Warracknabeal (Vic) and Natimuk (Vic). Son of Lena Bertha (nee Sudholz) (decd) and Carl Wilhelm Schmidt (decd), loved brother of Mabel (decd) and Roy. Loving Husband of Heather, adored father of Sue-Ellen and Adrian, Father in law to David and Jane. Loved and admired Pa to Thomas, Catherine, Elizabeth and William. Passed away suddenly (from complications of Prostate Cancer) with beer and prawns at his finger tips and Reindeer antlers on his head, surrounded by loving Family. A happy, hardworking gentleman who will be sorely missed by those fortunate to have known him. Privately cremated. A service will be held at Natmuk Cemetery (Vic) at a date to be advised. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Council of Australia appreciated.
