Allen passed away on Sunday 29th October. His adored wife of 70 years, Dawn was by his side.
His children James, Garry, Vicki, Maree and Gerald (who has been like a son) wish to thank the staff at the Westmont Cottages for their care and devotion to Allen. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They have been simply outstanding.
Allen's passion to the town he loved - Wodonga - and the Rotary Club were only surpassed by his love and dedication to his family.
He will be hugely missed by his whole family including son in law, Damon and grandchildren Jeremy and Katie, Marnie and Darcy and Kaitlin.
A life superbly lived. Allen was one of life's true gentlemen.
A private cremation will be held for Allen.
No flowers please. If you wish, a donation to Macular Degeneration Australia in Allen's memory.
